Win a Copy of Toby Keith’s American Ride

american rideI’m back from a busy musical weekend, which you’ll be reading about in short order. Just give me a day or so to gather my thoughts and nurse my sunburn.

For now, though, the good people at Show Dog Nashville and UMGD have set us up with TWO (2) copies of Toby Keith’s fourteenth studio album, American Ride, which hits stores tomorrow. We want to give one of them to you.

You probably have a pretty good idea of what to expect from a Toby Keith album, so I won’t spend much time trying to entice you. But I will say that listening to the Rhapsody preview of this one reminded me that Keith’s albums are typically much better than his singles, so this could be worth checking out even if you’re not a fan of the title track. Also, free is a pretty attractive price.

To enter, just comment with your favorite Toby Keith song. Entries will be accepted through Friday.

Edit: Winners chosen and contacted. Congratulations to Dylan and Plain Jo!

I do like the “free” price tag and I agree that Keith is capable of good stuff that is not always reflected in the singles, which I hope to be true of this upcoming album. I actually have a few faves including “Getchya Some”, “Big Blue Note”, “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” and some that I’m forgetting right now. I’ll even say that White Trash with Money is my favorite album of his. It was a little quirky and I loved it. Anything with a kuzu, you know…

  2. David Jones says:

My favourite Toby Keith has always been “My List”.

My fav is “When Love Fades ” i think it was on Blue Moon.

So is this a “Fake Contest” article along the lines of “Fake News”? NO! Gulp…

I once bought a copy of “Shock N ‘Yall” for as Aussie friend who liked “I Love This Bar”. I burned a copy for myself and after a listen or two tossed it in the trash. Hey, if I win can I trade this for a copy of the Trailer Choir’s EP CD? I’d much rather look at Crystal Hoyt than the Tobester. Hmm…

I really like “She Never Cried In Front Of Me”, it just works for me.

Also since I won his last album (autographed!) from the 9513, I’ll see if I can go 2 for 2!

  6. Angela says:

I love God Love Her. Love to sing along! and I really like Darius Rucker’s cover version he did at a few shows.

  7. Dylan says:

My favorite Toby Keith songs are “You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like This,” “Crash Here Tonight,” and “Should’ve Been A Cowboy.”

    “I’m Tired”. Discussion over.

  9. Erik says:

“She Never Cried In Front Of Me”. Yes, that’s actually my favorite.

I have always enjoyed the Keith song I ain’t as good as I once was. Having never been a very big fan of mainstream country, I believe it was one of the first videos I ever watched on CMT. This coincided with me realizing that they put really hot girls in country videos. Which led to me watching more CMT. This was when they actually played music videos. weird.

My favorite Toby song? How to limit it on just one!?! “Just The Guy To Do It” on “Honkytonk University”…it just tickets me! “Do blonds really have more fun, or are they just easier to spot in the dark?” Gotta love it!!

  12. Michelle Simons says:

Good ole Toby!!! Always playing at the local bar “I love this Bar” so it got stuck with being my favorite of Tobys!

  13. Sabrina5000 says:

Being an Okie myself, I watched Toby play many times at small places around the state, long before he was ever famous. So I can imagine he got quite a chuckle out of this song, “How Do You Like Me Now”. I think it’s a great song. Always been one of my favorites.

    Did I miss the announcement?
