This should be of interest to everyone – not just fans of The 9513, but fans of country music blogs in general – because it’s pretty amazing for a blog from our genre to even be in the running.
I’m sure there’s a tiny part of every blogger that cringes when a competitor in the niche gets a leg up. But the truth is that the country blogosphere (sorry, I said the b-word) is a pretty small place and what’s good for one blog is also good for neighboring blogs. You’d think that more attention for one site would mean less for others, but in my experience that’s not the way it works; when one site sees a sudden jump in activity, new readers start circulating among different sites (via links and blogrolls) and everyone ultimately benefits.
So, if you’re reading this (and I think you are), it behooves you to support The 9513 by casting your vote now and every 24 hours until polls close next Tuesday. Help raise the profile of all country music bloggers.

Exactly. Increased traffic on one blog helps all the blogs on the blogroll! I already voted for today, but I’ll vote again tomorrow.
I checked out almost all of the other blogs in the music category, and none of them really stood out as exceptional to me, but that’s just my opinion. I did enjoy Mymoodismusic, but the others didn’t do anything for me…

Just voted. The 9513 are so far third in the running. That’s very good – hopefully – worse case sceniero – they could end up with bronze.
