If you’re anything like me, listening to music makes you want to listen to more music, and your appetite’s always bigger than your disposable income. Here’s a shuffle aimed at reminding myself of all the good music I already have, some of it listened to only once or twice in more affluent days. If you ever find yourself collecting music faster than you can truly listen to it, or neglecting older favorites in favor of the latest and greatest, post your own shuffle in the comments and let’s feel lucky for the lifetimes of good music already in our possession.

Hey, I’ve got some good stuff.
I so have this problem. I’m trying to decrease my purchasing until I’ve listened to what I already have, because I have a lot of music that I actually havened listened to yet. Here’s my list:

I haven’t listened to “Once You’ve Loved Somebody” in so long, but now that you mention, I have that beautiful chorus playing in my head once again. That “Wide Open Spaces” CD was one of the greatest country albums ever, in my opinion.
I’ve got 10,776 songs in iTunes, and I’ve never listened to 1,530 of them. That’s not too bad, actually. I spend most of the workday listening to iTunes on shuffle, so I tend to cycle through my collection decently well.
