There isn’t anything new to see around here today, but that doesn’t mean you have to go outside or interact with other people. There are still plenty of neat things to see on the internet, including:
Bigger in Texas Day at Photocrap, a collection of 25 honest album covers focused on Texas artists of various stripes.
A fantastic review of the new Lost Trailers album at The 9513.
Kevin J. Coyne at Country Universe reveals his 25 favorite songs by the inestimable Todd Snider. For more Todd Snider goodness, see the old journal entries and videos at www.toddsnider.net.
Also, it’s never too late to post your ideas for Swift-esque package deals. A link from The 9513 made yesterday the biggest traffic day ever, but that somehow didn’t translate to many comments… so there are still lots of jokes just waiting to be told.
Should I do a new edition of Quotable Country on Sunday or is the charm of that feature wearing thin?

I say stick with the Quotable Country feature. I read through a ton of articles every day, but always enjoy the quotes you decide to pull and your comments on them.
Stick with the quotes, I meant to comment on the last one, but truth be told I’m an exceedingly lazy man. But seriously, I like the quotes a lot, if you promise to post them I, for one, will promise to comment.
Thanks for the feedback, guys. I’m an habitual non-commenter myself, so I understand that I won’t hear from people every time they like something. I just don’t want to continue a feature if it’s only amusing me. I’m glad that that doesn’t seem to be the case here.
More opinions welcome. Anyone hate the quotes?
I like the quotes. Your comments are funny and I enjoy reading the articles you link to.
Definitely keep your comment feature. I love the snarkiness.
As you know, I’m a frequent commenter, but I tend to get lazy with blogspot blogs on account of laziness, since they require more than one step to post a comment.:) Because that’s lame of me, I’m gonna muster up the energy to comment regularly again, since this blog is awesome!

Thanks again for the feedback and kind words. A new edition of Quotable Country is already in the works and will be waiting for you when you roll out of bed on Sunday morning.
I’m late to the party, but yay!
I’m with ccdixon.
I’m a not-so-frequent commenter, but I have really enjoyed your site, and promise to come around more often. Especially if you keep up the humor. :)
