    Our lists are eerily similar, though I’m hitting my head against the wall for forgetting The Time Jumpers.

    This year the only list I put together was Best Reissues – I purchased the Mel McDaniel collection but it has too many flaws for it to be among my top ten in that several of the tracks on it appear to be re-recordings or perhaps album versions. Either way they sound different than my 45s. Also several key songs are missing such as “Love Lies” and “Hello Daddy, Good Morning Darling” , songs which show the more authentically country side of Mel McDaniel

    I bought the Eady (does his name rhyme with ready or needy) album based on this post and I love it. Probably gonna have to run down some of his earlier stuff now.
