I’ll add “Phones Are Ringing All Over Town”, Martina McBride.

Terri Clark’s “I Just Called to Say Goodbye” from Pain to Kill is another good one.

I love Sammy Kershaw’s (still got her number but…) “I Can’t Reach Her Anymore”… great song.
John Maglite says
Thanks for the additions thus far. I wasn’t familiar with the first two and can’t believe I forgot about the third. That’s one of my favorite Sammy Kershaw songs.
Leeann says
I don’t know the Terri Clark song, but I highly recommend the Martina one. It’s from her best album, Wild Angels, before she started vocally showboating all the time.
As for the Sammy Kershaw song, I love it! It’s the first Kershaw song that I heard.

How could you forget “Chantilly Lace” by J.P. “Big Bopper” Richardson (and also by Jerry Lee Lewis) ??
