He has never put himself in a category ... i think the industry did that... He has always been a Country writer and performer, as well as christian country in the past. I dont think his values have changed - you mentioned what he said he used to be.. Hes still a good person who has strong value and loves his family.. I think he just likes to have fun and be creative and write music that we will all enjoy- hes the same Paul Overstreet you've always known - just alot of folks have tried to put him in ONE Category.. he has incredible talent, always has - still does. that has not changed.
