I don't know much about Mac Davis, but what I've heard - or rather, read in various books - is that he was pretty much unanimously despised in Music City and beyond. A perfect candidate for this site. Also, I didn't know he was a writer on 'In The Ghetto'. Who knew this would be a learning experience? I can't help but like that song - especially the cheesy Dolly Parton recording. She also recorded a duet with Mac on her <em>White Limozeen</em> album that's a fun listen. This is great!
