I think that you’ve got it about right. I’ve never heard Step Right Up all the way through, but it sounds like a weaker album. Once I saw the topic I didn’t know what would be number 1, but I fugered Viva Satellite would be at the bottom.

I’ve been a fan of his since the day I stumbled across his “greatest hits” record. I was browsing Tower Records, and saw that goofy looking grin, sampled “Tension” and was hooked. However, he has been a little hit and miss for me. Then, a week ago, I picked his live album…and I haven’t quit listening since.

I've been meaning to study more of Snider's catalog. The only two of these I have are Peace Queer and East Nashville Skyline, with the latter being my favorite. So thanks for giving me a detailed starting point.

I think I would switch the excitement plan with Viva Satellite. The rest are more or less how I would rate them (my tastes change daily so….). I just think Satellite is way underrated. Love the more rocking songs on that one.

I’m so excited that you did this. He is definitely toward the very top of my list as well. I couldn’t rank the albums, because i’m used to listening to him on shuffle, to be honest. I would definitely keep your first and last rankings right where they are though. I love that live album and I typically don’t even buy live albums of artists. I particularly love his updated version of “Broke” from that album. On a random different note, I had “My Generation (Part 2)” in my head for days earlier this week….and I think it’s coming back now.
