B&D are definitely more of a singles act for me (The Long Goodbye, She Used To Be Mine, Husbands & Wives and Building Bridges among my favorites) and when I want to listen to their music, I usually reach for a compilation rather than one of their studio albums. However, I would have ranked Tight Rope lower and Red Dirt Road higher.

Interesting

One of the few lists I've seen that values TIGHTROPE as much as I do. It's actually my favorite Brooks & Dunn album because it wasn't the "same old thing"

After that I'd go with BRAND NEW MAN and HARD WORKIN' MAN. The rest of their albums are pretty interchangeable

Come to think of it, I'd put Borderline just below their first two albums.

Interesting about Tightrope; I didn't know the tenuous background surrounding it.

I agree with sticking Steers and Stripes up top, but otherwise I diverge wildly from this list.

This is certainly provocative.

Off hand, I'd probably have their first couple albums and Red Dirt Road up high, Steers & Stripes and Hillbilly Deluxe down low. Tight Rope is underappreciated, but not sure I'd rank it quite as highly as you did. I don't think they've ever been exceptional album artists, so many of their non-singles bleed together for me.

I guess I don't agree with this ranking very much, but that's okay, of course.

I have all of their albums except Cowboy Town, but I only truly like their first two albums. Also, I really like "A Man This Lonely" and probably would have ranked its album higher.
