It's all true -- I'll soon have the honor of doing twice as much work as I am now.

I know the name thing is confusing, it's just that when the magazine went biweekly in the late '90s they didn't want to lose the brand-name recognition. Gentleman's Quarterly (GQ) isn't quarterly, btw, so we're not the only ones.

Heh. It's a press release (link) I came across over the weekend. And something very much like your comment (a weekly going weekly!?) was this close to making it into this edition of Quotable.

Now, is this real or another one of your fake news stories?:) Imagine a magazine with weekly in its title going weekly. Crazy...

That's weird. I'd say they're pushing the whole "unbroken circle" thing a bit far.

When CW used to have a Q&A page, we got that stuff all the time. A lot of folks out there think that any two country stars who vaguely resemble one another or have the same (or just similar) last names have to be related.

Good stuff.
I really liked the guys answer to the James Otto Glen Cambell question. "I think their eyes and forehead resemble each other."

Brilliant as always.

What would country music be without the 34-year old housewife?
