Country music has sucked ever since Nashville turned it’s back on the folks that put it on the map! Not one of the current artists can even come close in talent to George Jones, Hank Williams , Waylon Jennings , Lefty Frizell, Charley Pride, Conway Twitty, Johnny Cash, Kitty Wells, Tammy Wynette, Jessie Colter etc etc etc.. Garth & the rest all brought to you by corporate (will make you a star) productions ..Even though you cant play worth a shit!!! Most of them are all 3 chord wonders & they dont know what twin fiddles , Dobro’s , Banjo’s etc etc are about and couldn’t play them if they had too!!!!!!!! Country Radio aint worth a damn today!!

Aha, I knew this was fake! What 17 year old female AirHead Country radio listener these days has ever heard of Lila McCann! Ha!…(lol)

Great job CM. My favorite lines: “But what I like to try to do is give some context, so I might lead into a Chuck Wicks hit with an earlier hit by Ty Herndon or, to really go back a ways, Collin Raye. The goal is to give folks some idea of where the music we’re hearing now came from.” Again the only give away this is fake is that many of the programmer directors at Top 40 Airhead Country radio stations wouldn’t know who Collin Raye is! Having a knowledge of country music history is not only NOT a requirement these days for programmer, it could actually be a hindrance. Sheesh!
