"If Gary LeVox wore underwear a few sizes larger, his singing career would be over!"

Classic!

Let's have a whip round for those pants.

I keep getting Faith Hill stuff mixed up to; and it complicates matters further that "The Way You Love Me" is a line in "This Kiss".

You're right: there should be more Randy. I'm still trying to find those two new tracks from his new Ultimate Hits CD. No luck so far. "Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man" and "Look Heart, No Hands" are seriously underplayed to such a point, radio seemingly ignores those songs.

Thanks St. Mordant, now I don't regret that we don't have a country radio station around here.

And I hope you don't mind me borrowing your underwear comment. I have just the colleague for it !

I don't know that Marcel song (guess I'm no Marcel expert), Lynn. I'm officially intrigued though.
I hate to put any CU cred on the line, but I just can't help it. it's a guilty pleasure. I wasn't exactly favorable toward his latest single though, you know, not to throw poor Marcel under the bus or anything.:)

Thanks for your dedication S.C.M.Le.M. Always appreciated....and better you than me. If it helps any CU cred, I still have no clue who Marcel is ... Except now that I'm checking iTunes ... Banana Blubb? Leeann, seriously? ;)

Miley Cyrus = 40-year-old cocktail waitress. Perfect analogy.

"Three Wooden Crosses" is the preferred Travis song around these parts. Redemption = happy ending = soccer moms keep listening.

Wow, from Miley Cyrus to The Lost Trailers to Rascal Flatts. It takes dedication to make it through any one of those, and you stayed in for all three. I'm impressed.

PS - I'd go to the "Golf & Guitars" related concert just to see Megan Mullins and Jypsi! (It's nice to know that a comment like that will not challenge my credibility here as I have none to begin with...)

# 9:39 AM: It’s one of a couple old Randy songs that they still overplay, but I never get tired of this.
# 9:40 AM: Still, wish they’d pull out an occasional “1982″ or “Reasons I Cheat” or something.
# 9:40 AM: He has more songs than “Forever and Ever” and “Deeper Than the Holler”
# 9:40 AM: They never even play “On the Other Hand”

Come on now Saint LeMordant, which of Randy's vintage songs do you really think soccer moms want to hear on their morning drive in the minivan to pick up their husband's dry cleaning, about endless romantic love or cheatin' and regret....
