When you tone down the language a bit (e.g. by not calling us ugly, unpleasant, spiteful, jealous), I can better appreciate your position, so thank you.

'Funny' is subjective, and I don't pretend to have a perfect handle on it, but virtually everyone I've heard from who didn't come from the Sugarland fan board seems to think this is worth at least a good chuckle. I've gotta go with that feedback versus one person who might have a bit of a soft spot for Kristian, uses a clearly fictitious name and email address and (correct me if I'm wrong) has no history of commenting on this site, taking exception to a pretty mild humor piece.

If you stick around long enough to engage authentically with us on some of our (very occasional) non Kristian Bush related posts, perhaps I'll get to know you a bit and your opinion will weigh more heavily on me in the future.

So it would seem that not only are some Sugarland fans overly sensitive, but they also have double standards, i.e., it's okay for Kameron, err, Kristian Bush to be a jackass, but to poke fun at his jackassery makes "some of us people" heartless monsters.

Yes, but KB keeps saying ridiculous things. It's not like there's an isolated incident that keeps being beaten to death. It's one thing after another with him. Otherwise, I don't really remember a bunch of things about him on this site...unless you're referring to Quoteable Country features, which features unique quotes with each installment, which only illustrates my above point.

Leeann, it has more to do with beating a joke until it is not funny any more. the guy makes asinine comments and doesn't seem to do much in the live shows, we get it. I don't see the need to be meanspirited about it, though. And this site is reliably meanspirited towards him. it's not that I mind people cracking on KB. its when it becomes unrelenting.

Practical example: The current Letterman satire is funny. But if I come back in a week, and then two weeks and then 6 months from now and this site is still ragging on Letterman for the same thing over and over again, it will just seem cruel, and not funny, and not contributing anything meaningful to the discussion.

Actually if Kristian really needed vocal rest it would undoubtedly be due to the amount of simpering, sarcasm and sheer lying he engages in. If you knew him (as I do) you would know he is a fake who cares only for himself and views his fans with contempt. He imagines himself an international rock star. What you see in the shows is not who he really is, by any stretch of the imagination. The ego and sense of entitlement that comes through in the interviews is what is real...........

Wow, those Sugarland fans sure can get defensive. I used to be like that about my favorite artists. But I grew out of it.
