October was something of a transitional month around here: there was a design overhaul, a name change, a move into The 9513 territory, and the implementation of a few new usability tweaks (index pages and the like). I’d like to thank you for bearing with me through the changes. All that back-end stuff ate up a good chunk of the time normally used for writing; frankly, I suspect the posting quality sagged a bit as a result. While I’m mostly proud of the work I did this past month, I want you to know that that’s not as good as it gets. I’m still just getting started.
Now that the new Country California is pretty well set up, I’m excited to take off the webmaster hat and make November all about the writing. It’s time to get serious about trying to deserve some of the attention you’ve kindly paid me.
Have a nice Halloween, folks, and see you next month.

THIS was a bad writing month for you? Dude, now you’re just rubbing it in.
Yeah, if this was a bad month for you, I’m very excited for what’s to come. You’ve set the bar extremely high for yourself in any case, which is only good for us. I’m sure glad you’re around!
You’re both way too nice.
