Bryan White Signs with BMG

In an unprecedented deal, country singer Bryan White (Someone Else’s Star, From This Moment On) has signed a twelve-album contract with BMG Records, according to his agent. Complete terms of the arrangement were not available at press time, but it is believed that White will only have to deliver on three of the albums to fulfill his obligations. Negotiations went very smoothly as White signed with a smile and dropped his agreement into the prepaid reply envelope. “I’m elated!” said White, his boyish dimples winking from rosy cheeks. “My agent really outdid himself this time.” When asked what the new tunes would sound like, White offered “Well, it’s a really cool mix of Coldplay, Taylor Swift, Skynrd, Dr. Dre, Garth and James Taylor… and that’s just the first installment!” A possible Walmart parking lot tour is also being discussed for 2009.
