Last week, I posted a video of 1984 Billy Joe Shaver doing “Black Rose” on Austin City Limits. Now, here’s personal video of a 2010 Billy Joe Shaver performing last Friday at a free community event in Auburn. It would’ve been nice to get him doing “Black Rose” again, but Billy Joe rocks harder than my camera’s mic can handle, so I had to opt for a quieter moment. Here’s an a cappella version of “Good Ol’ USA.” The beginning got clipped: “In the good ol’ USA, I’m proud to say/We got brand new action…” (roll tape)
