You'll have to forgive me this brief motivational aside. If you were brave enough to make any New Year's Resolution at all this year, chances are good that you're already well off-course by now. The good news? Change doesn't happen on January 1. Whatever your goals and aspirations, it's never too late to start turning things around by making just one or two different choices every day. Little changes snowball, new habits and relationships are formed, and big things happen. This Leap Day is … [Read more...]

Heard of the Malpass Brothers Yet?

I hadn't until a reader brought them to my attention. I'll pay it forward by sharing them with you. Brantley Gilbert Fan to Graduate High School

Brantley Gilbert fan Nat Barksdale of Covington, Georgia, recently announced that he will graduate high school this spring, making him the first Gilbert fan to do so without the aid of post-dropout GED courses. "My counselor says it looks like I'm going to scrape by in driver's ed and welding class and finally graduate!" said an elated Nathaniel, who will gain his 22nd credit, making him graduation-ready after six years of studious classwork. "It's been a struggle," he admitted, "but thanks … [Read more...]
